Donut County is currently free on Game Pass, and I decided to give it a go. It’s a cute, fun game with a great soundtrack and simple gameplay. Playing through the story will only take an hour or two for most people, and you can get most of the achievements by just naturally playing.

Once you beat the game, you will unlock level select, so any achievements you missed can easily be gotten. Many of the ones that are less straightforward involve finding little secrets in the game. Some of them aren’t very intuitive, but there are guides out there that should make it easy enough.
The hardest achievement in the game is not really “challenging” so much as “control sensitivity can be a real sob.”
I think I put about 3 hours into this game before getting all the achievements, and I only had to do level select for a handful of them. Like the game itself, it’s a pretty simple completion.
Between it being free on Game Pass, how fun the game is, and how quickly I was able to do it, this is honestly a really easy “yes” as far as being worth the grind. There are also a lot of guides out there, so if you do happen to get stuck, it shouldn’t be too hard to work out.
