Exciting news for the start of summer in Stardew, we completed the community center! As I mentioned several entries ago, I was pretty close to done but ignored a summer item I needed last year. I am so glad we got it and finished the center.

Once it’s done, the jumino bid you farewell, and everybody is excited to see the community center restored. Morris, the Jojo Mart person, offers a 75% discount to continue to shop with him instead of Pierre, and Pierre finally pushes back. He reminds everybody how important the community center used to be, how it brought everybody in town closer together, and how Jojo Mart threatens to end all that. He acknowledges that the farmer has reminded them all how important their community is, and everybody agrees to not shop at Jojo Mart again.

The next day an abandoned building takes JoJo Mart’s place.
I’ve always really liked this aspect of the game, the reminder that there is something vibrant and wonderful about these small communities, but that it takes effort by everybody to keep them alive.
Aside from that, we also got a message from Willy and request to help him fix up an old boat of his, which, once done, will open up other parts of the game.
All in all, an amazing start to summer and a great accomplishment!
