So as I have mentioned, winter is a bit harder than other seasons because you cannot plant crops. If you are ill-prepared, that means you are looking at a full month struggling to make money. We set ourselves up pretty well, however, so I am not actually worried about it. Winter is also nice because you can spend more time focusing on mining. Upgrading certain tools is easier because you don’t have to worry about using them as much. Also, it’s a good time to work on the community center. In fact, fairly early into the season, I was able to finish the pantry. The reward for that is a bridge to minerals.

The rest of the week was spent just doing as much busy stuff as I could and making sure to stay on top of goods to make money.
I got an event where Jodi invites you over for dinner with the family, which I think is sweet. I also got to stargaze with Maru.

The Maru part was sad because she hints that she has feelings for you. Overall this makes me feel bad every playthrough. You reach a point where you are getting events with people implying they’d like to date. But I chose Harvey, and I am sticking to it. Also, they aren’t real people, but they are such good characters it still pulls on my heartstrings.
I also got a few scenes with Emily. One with her and her sister and a solo one where I interrupt a dream of hers. Emily is a fascinating gal.
So our first week of winter comes to an end!
