So continuing on with my summer adventures, I thought I would finally do a post for Texas. My late grandmother used to have a home in Fort Davis, and I would visit regularly. I only went to the actual Fort once that I could remember and was underwhelmed. Recently they put a lot of work into it, and it shows. It is one of the better forts I have been to. We did go when it was a touch too hot (we had to leave early), so I would like to go back, but overall I was impressed with everything they had done.

There is some troubling history with the fort, as you will find with most of these sights in the south. I think they covered it respectably, however. If you are ever in that area, I would recommend dropping by.
