Well a few days before September, but close enough…
August was a mixed bag. I hit some goals, excelled in others, and utterly failed at the rest. I am greatly struggling with my writing and streaming right now, which I have been rather open about. I do know what I need to do with streaming, I have no idea what I need to do with writing. It’s getting harder and harder each month to have the same writing goals because I have made so little progress. Healthwise we did better than we have been, but we have a way to go. So with that.
-Start the new stream schedule and stick to it!
We will be going back to evening streams because it just makes more sense for me right now. I am also debating dropping to 4 days a week, but that is not set in stone. I want one good consistent month of sticking to my schedule and not missing streams. This is non-negotiable.
-Finish reading my current book and possibly a second. I will have more on my plate moving forward so this might be too much.
-Finish the current draft of my writing project finally and start working on other creative works to keep my mind and creativity fresh.
-Be consistent with going to the gym, shoot for 3 days a week. I want to hit 2.5 on the elliptical consistently and start adding strength workouts in.
-I hit good progress with my yard. Now I just have some clean up to do and keep it well watered and going strong, so we have a good starting point next spring. I also need to look into what we will do with plants during this winter, and transplant some things.
-Keep working on my sleep schedule
-Continue to use my planner and get even better at it
-Work harder on cutting out excess spending
-Lose 5 pounds at least. I got very close in August, and I feel I can hit it in September and possibly do better
-Keep walking the dogs more and find other ways for all of us to be active and have fun
-Cut out eating out other than for date nights
-Do even better with eating healthy. Try to replace a meal a day with a smoothie (at least several times a week), more vegan and vegetarian foods.
-Work harder on cutting out bottled water
-Consistently wear my Fitbit and improve my step count
-Try not to drink at all for the full month
-Try to watch and play new things for the blog
-Stay on schedule with my blog, improve the stats, and keep up with the food blog
-Get out of the house more
-Find more way to be active other than just taking the dogs out and go to the gym. Something I can enjoy to help with doing more
-Look into freelance writing more
-Mental health work (personal)
-Work harder on a project I have planned for the blog
-Be a better Twitch viewer
-Do some cleaning out in the house
-Remain positive and don’t allow depression and anxiety to take over
