So not long ago I posted a bit about a breakdown of sorts. I am slowly yet surely getting back into the groove of things. The big things are of course keeping myself on target and track. That was the reason for writing out so many to do lists, and keeping a regular journal about my progress. It helps me to focus in and keep “my eye on the prize”, reminding myself everyday that I CAN work on these things, I CAN make progress, and that progress will result in my being happier and healthier. In the short term the feeling of accomplishment I get from the simple act of being able to check things off the list make me feel better, more in control.
I won’t pretend I am good as of now. Truthfully I am still barely hanging on, getting better only a little bit by little bit. Improvement can be slow at times, so I have to take what I can get, keep my head down, and power through.
It’s far too easy for me to get caught up in thoughts of “too little too late”, but that gets me nowhere.
All I can do is throw myself 100% into my website, my writing, my streaming, and to an extent even taking this blog more seriously.
So getting back into the groove of things…
